All of me welcomes you in all your complexities.

To me, this is more than a platitude. It’s a commitment. A fuel for radical intimacy. A catalyst for change. 

This is a prayer and a spell.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, to a family of mostly Chinese-Indonesian settlers and immigrants.

My first memory was drying hand-washed clothes with my maternal grandmother under the sun, while playfully chasing dragonflies. I was deeply connected to my ancestors, the land, the more-than-human world.

My wise child self knew that there was no separation. Only inherent belonging.

From that point on, my path took on a winding, spiralic turn. I was marked, claimed, and trained by Change to be its agent.

In 1998, I witnessed the government and the populace turned against people who looked like me, stripping away what little rights and dignity we had. In 2000, I moved to a new school where I had a really hard time fitting in and lost my sense of belonging for decades afterwards.

In 2007, I left Jakarta to pursue a dream of becoming a classical concert pianist by studying at a music conservatory in New York. In 2014, I pivoted to study economics and began working as a corporate actuary upon graduation. In 2019, a series of truly strange events led me to Transcendental Meditation, astrology, energy work, and divination.

At each turning point, I lost parts of myself.

During each transformation, I felt scared and alone.

In the end, I’m grateful for it all.

I believe that Change is the only constant. In the words of the wise Octavia Butler:

“All that you touch

You Change.

All that you Change

Changes you.

The only lasting truth

is Change.

God

is Change.”

Within the collective Westernized, capitalist, colonial dream, our institutions and authorities place tremendous value on learning how to strive, and very little on learning how to be with Change. As a result, when visited by Change, many of us become aware of how ill-equipped we are to be present with Change.

In my personal path, I’m committed to being present with Change and to observing what emerges out of that presence.

In my path of service, I’m devoted to the art of learning how to be others as they move through change. This is my way of honoring the mycelial network of human and non-human teachers and mentors who have walked alongside me through periods of change.

Through my work, I help clients and students in reorganizing their realities.

Together, we come up with big questions. We track how they move through our bodies. We get curious about the alchemy of permissioning our hearts and imaginative faculties to dance with the mystery.

I collaborate with models and mirrors of reality to guide others in moving through their own spiritual (re)birth canals. Years of committed studies and practice of western astrology, divination, and subtle alchemy has led me back to the more relational, less dogmatic path of my ancestors.

These tools, practices, and knowledge systems are profound sources of wisdom and comfort. They ultimately help increase our capacity and skillfulness to be with our own non-linear process.
